Everyone's careful, They're plotting their best escapes
For fear of this whole place burning down,
Puzzles and pieces...
So stand in a world that seems to be built - On pillars and numbers - Or dance with the hopes of falling in love
Before we have learned to love ourselves...

The man with no name but a home.

So I realize it's almost summer...and I haven't exactly been to many different churches, however, I have studied other religions, tried to do the read through the bible in one year, and the truth is...none of this stuff is quite working for me.

But tonight, I had to share how God works.

I was ready for Southern State tumbling...and I got on facebook, bad idea....but then I got off and headed towards the gym...it turns out since my phone was in spanish and I couldn't really read it, I couldn't figure out how to get off the directions and to the map, so needless to say, I got lost....but luckily, it was near the Krispy Kreme, and since I had been craving it, AND the HOT sign was on...I stopped in for a dozen...

After I got my donuts, you all know me, I couldnt wait, so I pulled to the end of the driveway and ate one...or two...as I was finishing my second one, I heard a knock on the window....I jumped, and rolled down the window, thinking I was blocking the driveway.

It turned out the guy needed a ride and asked me very nicely, he looked in his late 40's and he had a case a beer in his hand. Everything about him and the area I was in screamed "mom would advise you not to do this..." But I proceeded to tell him yes and moved the donuts out to give him a seat.

He was only a minute up the road at the Parkway Inn and Suites, (the most pitiful looking place I've seen, I'm sorry but it was) and within those two minutes of driving, I thought the man was going to cough his lung out because he was so sick and in pain. I thought the man would ask for money....but he didn't. I thought he would lie (lets be honest I was ready to die right there because no one would have known for at least a few hours in a place like that) and do something crazy. I even thought he would ask for a donut...but he didn't...all he said was sweet sweet girl, got out of the car...Said a few thank you's...and walked with his case of beer into his Parkway Inn room. And I was speechless.
